Digital Media Guided Tour

Using the Palmetto Library Consortium Digital Catalog is easy! If you need help, here's a quick guided tour created by OverDrive, the company that provides downloadable service for us and many other libraries. The guide walks you through the basics, from getting started to downloading to burning to a CD. In just a few minutes, even the newest user can be enjoying a downloaded title.

As the guide is not library specific, there are a few things in it which do not apply to the Palmetto Library Consortium:

You may have a maximum of 5 titles checked out from the Digital Library.
Downloaded titles are checked out for 21 days and are automatically returned to the library.
The Palmetto Library Consortium does not currently offer video and music downloads (we may offer this in the future).
